The coast of Monte Argentario is among the most beautiful in the Tyrrhenian Sea, a jagged landscape of bays and coves that make for an exciting and romantic place, where you take a dip in the crystal waters.

The headland was at one point an island, but due to the marine currents was joined to the mainland, and it was probably already inhabited by the Etruscans. Later it came into the possession of the Roman Church, then a dominion of the Spaniards who fortified the two existing ports and towns of Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, before it passed into the hands of the Grand Duke of Tuscany and then finally was annexed to the kingdom of Italy. During World War II, Porto Santo Stefano was completely destroyed and was rebuilt only in the fifties, whose style is still visible.

Argentario is a corner of paradise, with a serene and relaxing atmosphere, where you can enjoy excellent seafood and enjoy breathtaking views and this has made it a destination for elite tourism.

Scattered in the Tyrrhenian Sea are the two southern islands of the Beautiful Tuscan Archipelago: Giglio and Giannutri which you can visit by boat, and enjoy an unforgettable experience, discovering the extraordinary beauty especially for lovers of diving, thanks to their rich seabed flora and marine wildlife.

An unmissable stop off point is Porto Ercole, with its terraces overlooking the sea, where you can dine looking out onto beautiful sunsets, and its port of Cala Galera, where the VIPs moor their yachts. The town is “dominated” by the famous Spanish fortress, that is easily reachable by foot and where you can take pictures that will take your breath away. Book your berth now, e buon viaggio!
