Emails are still the preferred tools of marinas to reply to requests for customers looking for spaces in their marina. Obviously the email, as a communication tool, always needs an operator to handle the request and manually send the quote to the customer.

After months of work to improve our service and especially to simplify the user experience for marina operators, we decided to introduce a fast-booking system completely manageable via email. The initial idea involves transferring to email some of the typical Marinanow platform features such as dealing with booking requests and sending quotes.

The benefits in using this feature are varied, starting with the automation of the creation of the quotes that are calculated using the price lists already entered in the marinanow extranet.

Description of the process

The process of accepting a reservation using the new email service consists of a few simple steps:

  • Receiving emails. The marina receives an email containing the information regarding the enquiry, including dates, vessel size, and any additional information.
  • Acceptance / rejection request. The email always contains two quick action buttons. The operator has 24 hours to respond with the acceptance of the request or with its refusal in case there is no availability.
  • Entering a custom quote. If the berth requested is set as “on demand”, the email will show a button for creating a customised offer. Clicking the button will open a web page in which you can enter the amount and conditions of the quote.

At marinanow we are convinced that this feature will help you manage your booking requests that you receive online. For more information and support write to [email protected].
