Super fast boats, that can reach up to 250 Km/h: the adrenaline running on the water, powerful motors, the latest technology, hulls with sophisticated lines, ensure a spectacle and emotions. This is the Formula 1 of the sea, or rather the world Powerboat championship, that each year challenges those passionate about powerboats.

Sponsored by the International Union of Powerboating (UIM) in the F1H2O championship they use catamarans, that as well as allowing high speeds, have exceptional manoeuverability. The boats weigh 390 kg, which includes the weight of the engine that by itself can weigh 118 kg; They are able to maintain such a low weight thanks to the use of materials such as carbon fibre and Kevlar. They are six meters long, two wide and use a two-stroke Mercury Marine V6, 425 hp engine. This engine allows the F1 powerboat to reach 100 km / h in less than four seconds and reach a top speed of over 240 km / h.
